Having set foot within classrooms at the AEDEC school in Dakar, Senegal, it was immediately recognized by A3D's volunteers and members that the condition of the space in which the students learn and advance in their classwork is extremely poor.  We are seeking $1200 per classroom, as described below.

The desks (as shown in the photo on the left) are old and very used.  Each desk consists of a table with a bench attached, seating 3-4 students at each one.  A typical classroom has around 20 desks.

We cannot change the entire world, but we can help where we are able to.  After visiting several classrooms like the one shown here, we were inspired to help them by raising funds and then purchasing new desks to replace the old ones that have more than served their useful lifespan.

Replacement desks (see photo below) cost approximately $65 each.  We are seeking donations and support from everyone around us who wants to make a difference for the better by helping give the students at schools like the AEDEC school in Dakar a chance to advance their education and achieve their dreams.

In addition, we at A3D would like to honor your donation with a small plaque.  You can make the donation in your own name, your company's name, or in honor of someone else.  By donating a classroom, the classroom will be similarly named in your honor.  It is a little way of saying thank you for your support.
